PhilanthroSee respects your privacy.  This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy” or :”Policy”) explains the information PhilanthroSee may collect from you when you use the PhilanthroSee website (the “Site”) and its services, information, and content published or accessible through the Site (collectively “Services”) operated by PhilanthroSee LLC.  By accessing and using the Site and Services, you agree to be bound by this Policy.

Information We May Collect and How We Collect Information

You can browse our Site and Services without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself or your organization.  If you submit a job, we  collect a few personal details, including but not limited to your name, email address, and phone number. We use a third party form submission platform, Typeform to collect your job submissions. This platform (Typeform) responds to certain terms and conditions and privacy policies, which you can find by clicking here. We also get certain information from your use of our Site and Services, including information from third parties, automatically collected information, cookies and similar technologies (i.e. Google Analytics), devices, location information, and online analytics providers. Some of our Services are designed to enable you to communicate with others (i.e. job board) and any information or content you post when participating in these Services becomes public information and is subject to redistribution by PhilathroSee and other third parties.  There is no expectation of privacy when submitting content. PhilanthroSee has no control over how users may use the information you make public.  Therefore, you should exercise caution and discretion when deciding to disclose personal information in any submission or posting. 

How We Use Your Personal Information

PhilanthroSee may use your personal information to:

  1. Create and manage your job posting, , use or purchase our Services;
  2. Verify your identity and accessibility to our Services; 
  3. Provide you with technical and customer support;
  4. Communicate with you and manage your service participation; 
  5. Evaluate and improve the quality of our Services;
  6. Provide our Services; and
  7. Enforce our legal rights or comply with legal requirements.

We will ask for your consent before using personal information for a purpose other than those set forth herein.

When We May Share Your Information

We may, without your consent, access and disclose your information, any communications sent or received by you, and any other information that we may have about you or your account as may be permitted or required by law or to prevent or investigate suspected fraud, violations of our Terms and Conditions, or activity that appears to be illegal or may expose PhilanthroSee to legal liability.  Additionally, we may disclose your information in situations that we believe may involve potential threats to the physical safety of any person or property.

Payment Processing

We use a third-party payment service, Stripe,(“Payment Service”) to process credit card payments for transactions made with us.  When you provide credit card information that information is sent directly to the Payment Service.  PhilanthroSee does not have access to your full credit card number and does not store such information in its own systems.  You acknowledge and agree that any personal information that you provide in connection with such credit card payments will be transmitted directly to the Payment Service.

Opt-Out 

To the extent that you receive marketing and advertising communications from us, you may opt-out of such communications by following the opt-out instructions contained in the email.

Minors

PhilanthroSee’s content is not directed to persons under 18 years of age, and by visiting the Site or using the Services you are representing that you are 18 years of age or older.

The Site may contain links to or content from other sites, which are provided solely as a convenience to you.  PhilanthroSee is not responsible for the availability of external sites, content or resources linked to the Site, and does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products or other materials on or available from such sites or resources.  You should consult the terms and conditions of any third-party websites to understand their privacy policies and how they collect and use your information.

Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, California law may provide you with additional rights regarding our use of your personal information.  California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third-parties for their direct marketing purposes.  We do not share your personal information with third parties for these purposes.

Deletion of Information

You may elect to delete your job posting at any time.  To do so, please send an email to [email protected] Please note that if your job posting is accepted to be published on the website, and you would like to delete it, refunds are not available. We can always edit a job posting after you have submitted for no extra charge. 

Amendments to Policy

PhilanthroSee reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy from time to time.  By accessing the Site or our Services, you consent to our then-current Privacy Policy as posted on the Site.
