The Foundation is seeking an Investment Intern to work with the Investment Team during a 10-week intensive program. The Investment Team is responsible for managing the Foundation’s endowment which comprises $8 billion in assets across public and private investments. This is an in-person internship in our New York City offices. The Investment Intern will support a range of projects throughout their time at the Foundation and will gain exposure to a wide spectrum of investment opportunities and asset classes.
The Environmental Grant Research Consultant will work with EGA’s Tracking the Field Team to collect, code and enter grants data to create the “Tracking the Field" reports. The “Tracking the Field” report series analyzes grantmaking data from funders to track trends in environmental philanthropy, including grantmaking issue focus, geographic focus, and strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in exploring a wide span of different environmental issues, understanding the key players in certain fields, and diving deeper into specific topics. The Program Associates (PAs) will support the climate initiative of the Environment Program. Reporting to a Program Officer, this individual manages the administrative aspects of the grantmaking process and communicates with grantees regarding proposals, budgets, and grant reports. The Program Associates may also research issues, programs, and organizations to assess their potential fit with Hewlett Foundation funding strategies. These individuals will also support strategy development and implementation.
